Wamu mortage company loses escrow

WAMU complaint by Shipaddict

We have been disputing our missing escrow monies now for 2 years. We overpaid the escrow on purpose incase our property taxes went up. Yet they claim we have a shortage and it must be paid. None of our monthly mortage statements ever balance with the amount we paid so far. Wamu is always showing less monies paid. I worked in finance for 13 years and know how to balance a ledger. So a portion of our escrow payments have disappeared as well as part of our extra prinicipal payment we make every month. I could not get anyone to help us resolve this mess until one day I got a disgruntle employee to send me a printout of all monies ever put on our account. I used this printout to convince the seo's office to finally help me. The man did help by listening to our problem.

But he refused to refund our missing money or validate that it is missing even after I sent him copies of canceled checks and the print out.
